The original logo artwork is an exercise in mixed media.

To begin I made a photo collage of Jason Denham’s original tailor scissor, before collaging together into the frame of a hand drawn scissor design. I then rendered the drawing, tinted it with blue watercolor paint, and finally vector digitized the motif.

The result is a unique impression that combines both craft and technology, consistent with the brand’s design mantra to "worship tradition, destroy convention."
